The Life Development Ministry team fulfills all five purposes (worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and evangelism) with our nursery, children, and youth. This team exists to provide spiritual and administrative leadership of our nursery, children and youth.
The Director of Pastoral Care is to be a shepherd to the church family, with the central purpose being spiritual growth and maturity. The Director oversees pastoral care and prayer. Additionally, he provides coordination to ministries relating to those areas, and provides pastoral counseling, hospital visits, and directs a comprehensive ministry of pastoral care for all church members and regular attenders.
The Special Events Ministry team fulfills the purpose of Evangelism. This team exists to take the message of the gospel to all people and equip others to carry out the Great Commission.
The Spiritual Formation Ministry Team fulfills the purpose of equipping and empowering the committed and core members of Mars Hill Baptist Church as well as members of God’s family toward spiritual maturity; to become mature Christians and fulfill God’s will for them, to discern their call to serve, and to connect to a shape-based ministry opportunity that utilizes their gifts and uniqueness.
The Total Impressions Ministry Team fulfills the purpose of fellowship. This team exists to create a "WOW" impression for our entire church body. Additionally, this team provides for the total care of the church family by encouraging the crowd to become part of our congregation and serve to meet the needs of the church body.
The Worship and Fine Arts ministry team fulfills the purpose of Worship. This team exists to lead the congregation in experiencing communion with the Living and Holy God by providing worship opportunities which lead to a deeper awareness of His holiness, majesty and grace.
